Travel with a minimum of carry-on luggage because it’s a long walk from the airline gate to the baggage claim. Once you have collected your luggage, go outside and walk to your right to car rental agencies or cross the street to taxi and shuttle services.
Now you are on your way to Kihei. We recommend taking South Kihei Road once you get to Highway 311 so that you can see on your way to get your bearings instead of taking the Piilani Highway towards Wailea and backtracking on Keonekai Road.
On arrival at Kihei Kai Nani, you will need to stop by the office to register, pick up keys, parking permits and a welcome packet with more helpful information and directions to your condo on property.
We recommend that you shop after you are settled into the condo because previous guests may have left some things that housekeepers leave in the refrigerator for the next incoming guest like condiments and other non-perishable items that you may not need to purchase. The unit will be supplied with a one time starter package for your convenience which includes:
- 2 rolls of toilet paper
- bath soap
- 1 roll paper towel
- plastic trash liners (1 for each trash can)
- 1 box dishwasher soap
- 1 bottle dish liquid
You will have to purchase any extra supplies you need during your stay. Nearby main grocery stores in Kihei are Foodland, Star Market and Safeway.
As for restaurants, we are lucky to have them located all around us in walking distances. To the left of us is Harlowes, Kai Ku Ono, Ono Kai Sushi, Annie’s Deli and the Greek Bistro. To the right is Disk’s Place, Denny’s, Canton Chef, Maui Pizza Café, Da Kitchen(great local-hawaiian food here), Maui Tacos, Lappert’s ice Cream and much more. They even have a coffee and shave ice stand on the road side that has Internet and e-mail service. Shops and convenience stores are also next doors you can get your souvenirs, etc.
There are lots of fun and adventurous activities to do on Maui. A typical week’s visit should include makena, Wailea, Lahaina, Kaanapali, Haleakala, iao Needle, Paia and Hana. If you don’t schedule your time, you might just spend your entire vacation on the beach directly across from us just snorkeling and basking in the sun, reading by the pool or golfing on the most beautiful courses in the world.
Each condo is individually owned, furnished and decorated by the owner. It would be greatly appreciated if you are very considerate and take care of it as if it were your home. Please follow these simple rules:
- Please do not sit on any upholstery with sun tan oil or lotion on as it will stain forever.
- Do not trade or lend anything from this condo to anyone. It belongs to the owner and they will never see it again.
- Rinse all sand off feet and body before entering your condo. There are 2 showers provided on the complex. One is located at the corner of building one and by the pool.
- Report any repairs in the interior of the condo as needed such as appliances, etc. to the front desk at 879-1430.
- On check-out remove all trash from the unit and dispose in trash bins on property. Load all dirty dishes in dishwasher and strip all linens.
**You will be responsible and or liable for any damages to your unit**
Have an awesome vacation!
