Hawaii Activities - Keep yourself busy for weeksYou'll be amazed at the number of activities you'll find in Hawaii. On each of the islands in Hawaii you'll find similar activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, Luaus, site seeing trips, island heritage information, sailing, wind surfing, surfing, and whale watching. Each of the islands has unique activities that will appeal to different people. For example, one of the unique activities on Maui is taking a bike ride 43 miles down from the top of Haleakala (the house of the sun). You can start this trip before sunrise so you get to watch the sun rise over the dormant volcano crater that created Haleakala. On the big island of Hawaii, you can visit an active volcano. You can go into parts of caldera and see the steam rising from vents in the crust. It can get very warm. At another place on the island you can actually watch hot live lava spilling into the ocean generating huge clouds of steam. It's an amazing, never to be forgotten scene. On the island of Oahu, Waikiki Beach is the focal point for tourists. It's a bustling area with lots of hotels right on the beach and thousands of tourists. It's also the site of Pearl Harbor and the battleship Arizona memorial. Value Accommodations in Kihei on the island of Maui Your Maui Vacation in Paradise Look at all the recreation in Maui |
